At the moment in our neighborhood the curbs are littered with piles of things ready for bulk collection - that aided effort of spring cleaning that is left out for the entire world to see. I have to admit that this is the first year we've ever put anything on the curb - just a couple of office chairs that we replaced recently - but it has always amazed me of all the things that people hold on to. In retrospect through Instagram, I can see that this winter has been a time of spring cleaning spiritually by removing things that clutter my life emotionally and its also been creatively nourishing through giving myself the permission to experiment. We took the time to reconnect through bushwalks and weekends away down south. After months of trawling Gumtree for the perfect dining table, I took on a huge DIY of refinishing it and we love it and look forward to so many dinner parties this summer. I decided to get some of the my ideas out of my head and onto paper by making plans for creative collaborations with new and old friends this summer. I went a little crazy making plans for our gardens and can't wait to see it mature in the warmer months and I continued to harvest delicious ingredients from our kitchen garden.
I hope your winter was as lovely as mine and has allowed you to refuel and replenish for what is going to be an amazingly productive summer.
