Bluewater Grill Wedding - Gemma and Angus

Gemma and Angus are high school sweethearts. They knew even as teenagers that this relationship was special and they have been inseparable ever since. Not long after they made the commitment to purchase their first house together, Angus asked Gemma's dad for permission to marry Gemma and they were ready to make another commitment to each other and their future. On a beautiful early autumn day earlier this month, Gemma and Angus finally tied the knot in front of their nearest and dearest friends and family at St Edmunds Church in Wembley. The church was actually the same church that Gemma's parents had been married at some 34 years before too which was an amazingly beautiful touch.

I was delighted to be able to spend the day with them and watch their love story unfold before my eyes. I started the day at Gemma's parents house to photograph her getting ready.

Following the ceremony and family portraits, I spotted a lovely white picket fence that I thought would be the perfect backdrop for some photographs. Lucky for me, Gemma told me she loved white picket fences and was happy to oblige.

Gemma's beautiful bridesmaids wore dresses from Review and were the perfect backdrop for the bouquets.

I was thrilled to be able to work at the Bluewater Grill (where I have actually chosen to host my first workshop this year) and the room was just big enough to be intimate and romantic which was Gemma's vision for her wedding.
