The summer of 2011/12

As I sit here in my cardigan, scarf, jeans and uggs in our cold house, I can't help but reminisce over what was quite possibly the best summer I can remember. I'm not sure to refer to it as the summer of 2012 or 2011 or 2011/12. Anyone know the correct term? Anyway, the summer months are normally busy for a wedding photographer but I somehow managed to have a lovely gap of most of December, January and February off to spend time with my family in our new home while cooling off in our pool, cook plenty of BBQ's, take in a workshop in the lovely Bunker Bay and shoot lots and lots of photographs.

I decided to stick to mainly film for documenting anything we did over this past summer and have loved flipping through the images as I remember the start of the next chapter of our life as a family. These are just a few photographs of how I remember summer 2011/12.
