Earlier this month, I photographed Alison and Craig’s Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club wedding on a perfect summers day. Their wedding was full of laughter and love and my own cheeks were sore at the end of the night from all the smiling I was doing as I watched them start this new chapter of their life.
It was within just a few months of dating that Alison knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Craig. From his impossibly contagious laugh to his unending optimism, he embodied everything she wanted in a man and Craig quickly realised that Alison was the perfect match for him as well.
Perhaps a little earlier than Alison anticipated, Craig asked her to marry him. After dinner Craig had reversed the car and they sat in the boot over looking the city scape from the South Perth foreshore. As their feet dangled, their toes grazing the ground and they savoured their hot fudge sundaes, Craig started to fidget around in his jacket. He pulled out a small ring box and got out of the boot of the car and knelt down on one knee and their lives changed forever.
It was an amazing team that came together to bring Alison and Craig’s wedding to life and I was over the moon to be included in the team.
