Earlier this year I was delighted to be included in what can only be described as the ultimate dream team for a style shoot with a very different idea. The concept from Rebecca of Fox & Rabbit was to follow the story of a couple in love, all within the historic walls of the Print Hall in Perth city as they move into the next chapter of their lives. The Print Hall was renovated from being the Old Newspaper House into something quite special and is quite possibly one of Perth’s most historic buildings. With each turn there is something different to see and always with a respectful nod to its history.
This style shoot followed the evolving love story of Marc and Erica as they enjoy a romantic dinner, a proposal in the newspaper lined stairwell on the way to the roof top and finally an engagement party in the Print Hall Dining Room. I loved the unique concept and the idea to photograph not only a proposal but an engagement party honouring the location of their engagement. We are thrilled to have this style shoot featured today over at Polka Dot Bride so please go and have a look to see the entire shoot.
A HUGE THANKS goes out to the entire team that made this epic shoot possible. It was an honour to work with you all and I can’t wait to do so again!

The first part of the shoot was a romantic dinner held in the Apple Daily Bar. With flowers lining the table intermixed with ruby red plums and pomegranates and candles casting a romantic glow, it was the perfect start to the serenade celebrating Marc and Erica’s love.
The next chapter was the proposal. On their way to the rooftop Bob’s Bar, Marc and Erica stumble across a candle filled stairwell (carefully prearranged by Marc) where Marc proposes. The amazing ring from Rohan Jewellery was a unique representation of their love together.
Then a few weeks later, we return back to the Print Hall to celebrate Marc and Erica’s engagement with their nearest friends in the Print Hall dining room.
