They had known each other for a little while after first meeting each other online. Whether it was by email or phone, somewhere in between Gavin’s fly in-fly out job up north and Jessica’s trip to Europe they had managed to keep in touch.
About a month after they were finally able to get together and have an official date, Gavin was getting ready to go to Europe himself. He invited Jess to join him and his closest friends for a send off dinner and as they walked into the restaurant, arm in arm, Gavin turned to Jess and asked, “Would it be ok if I introduced you as my girlfriend?”. It was perhaps a moment that Gavin realised he needed to let Jess know that he wanted her to be his – even if he was going to be out of the country for a while.
Gavin and Jess are getting married this December and I am so pleased to be a part of their day. We met last week for their engagement session on a rather beautiful winters day at Trigg Beach which was just a few days before their 5th anniversary. I love this extra special touch to their engagement session!
A big thank you to Emma at Milla Makeup for doing Jess’ makeup for the engagement session. I always suggest to my brides that they arrange for their makeup trials to be done for their engagement session and Jess looked absolutely radiant.
