For Scott and Priya’s pre wedding photos at Hillary’s Boat Harbour we had a pretty incredible sunset as the storm clouds rolled in.
There are times as I speak with potential clients and I realise that they are my client and I am their photographer. Sometimes, it feels as if there is no other alternative and I know I will be heartbroken if they do not call me to book in their date. I know I want to be there to witness their wedding day and be the one to give them the gift of clarity when they look back on their day. Priya and Scott are definitely one of those couples. Priya and I got talking when she visited the First Comes Love bridal fair and I fell in love with her immediately. The way she spoke about her fiance. Their wedding. My work. I knew I just had to be a part of it all and I knew all of this without having actually met Scott of course. But I knew if he managed to catch a woman like Priya he had to be a pretty great guy. I wasn’t wrong.
Scott’s first encounter with Priya left him with her telephone number scrawled on his arm in eyeliner. They met by chance on Rottnest Island during Leavers when one of Scott’s friends had accidentally locked themselves out of their rental house. The rental house next to where Priya was staying. It was then they met. By chance. I have no doubt it took one look into Priya’s eyes and one glance at Scott’s “I-know-something-you-don’t-know” smile for them to want to get to know each other even better.
Thank you Priya and Scott!Thank you. I can’t wait for your January wedding!
