Its that time of year when there never seems to be enough days in the week or as much money in the bank as I’d like. With school just around the corner my days this week are filled with school visits, dentist check ups, hair cuts, shoe purchases and of course an endless supply of stationery and school books needing to be bought.
As a kid, I used to love the lead up to the new school year but as a parent, it ain’t so much fun. This year Ben is in year 11 and it seems like we only enrolled him in high school last year. He’s turning into a man before our eyes and soon having the perfect pencil case for the start of school will be a distant memory. On top of this, we have Phoebe’s 18th birthday coming up next weekend which is turning into quite the soiree. I’ve been busy crossing off RSVP’s (or getting cross that those that don’t RSVP), making an epic collage of photos and approving catering for the big event.
In between all of these things happening at home, I have some amazing things happening in my business which I can’t wait to share with you. Not the least of which were two lovely weddings last long weekend that reminded me how blessed I am to do what I do. Here is a sneak peek of Kirsty and Dan’s wedding that was on Sunday with much more to come soon.
