Before settling myself into my studio late last year, all of my client consults were done on location – usually at my clients home. I would be lying if I said that booking consultations south of the river always felt a little bit of a drag, especially during peak hour when it would take me 3 hours for a 40 minute meeting. However, when Olivia contacted me and we set up a consultation I gave a little happy dance because she is quite literally 2 minutes from my home. It felt like such a luxury to not have to spend most of the appointment driving but rather getting to know my client and finding out all the ins and outs of their relationship and planning their wedding.
Olivia, Mark and I seemed to click from the beginning and I can very confidently write that they are not only my clients, but also my friends. After their engagement session, I was looking forward to their wedding at Yanchep National Park and wasn’t disappointed with a beautiful summers day by the lake. I had the luxury of spending a couple of hours with Liv and her girls as they got ready and her getting ready images are some of my favourite ones ever.
Ceremony : Yanchep National Park
Reception : Cabaret Cave, Yanchep National Park
Hair and Makeup : Anita Carr Design
Flowers : The Boulevard Florist

It was quite a challenge photographing Cabaret Cave, where the reception was being held, but I took the challenge and by the end of the night we were best friends. It is an amazing location and the ambiance was pretty much true to this image with a yellow glow across the room.

Hello finder of loveliness/happiness… dreamy, beautiful and perfect. x
