Pretty in pink

When the winter wardrobes come out for the cooler weather, there is no hiding from the reality that some of us have become a little more rotund than last winter. We had a giggle as we put on the girls jackets and Lily resembled a little pink piglet scurrying around the house trying to get her jacket off just as soon as I had put it on. In the back of my mind I had a vision of myself putting on my own winter coat and us being a pigeon pair. Lulu of course just looked even more beautiful in her pink hue and hasn’t gained an ounce of weight dispute my giving her a few too many treats over summer.

So as we prepare for a very wet and cold week here in Perth, Lily and I are resolved to be a little more slender at the end of winter. As you can see Lily is almost physically ill while basking in Lulu’s perfectness. I keep telling her that she’ll be the hot sister at the end of winter once we get started on our overhaul. I could almost hear her sighing “Whateva . . . Just take the damn picture”.
